Customize Your Default Management Program

The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) offers free “Customized Default Prevention and Financial Literacy Education Programs” to institutions and community based organizations. There are several options available to meet your needs:

Need a Default Prevention Plan? Meet with an Outreach Representative to develop and/or update a default prevention plan for your institution. Using our sample plan components, your staff along with our representative can address existing strategies in place and implementation phases for new strategies. Need a financial literacy or default prevention website? Incorporate our financial literacy/default prevention site into your current website structure. No need to recreate the wheel! Save your dollars and use our site to offer financial information. Need online workshops for your students? NyFF offers an assortment of topics through our online workshop portal. Bonus for your staff: each workshop generates a confirmation page for your records as students complete the counseling.
